I'd like one that is smaller.  If I don¹t need a 2.4" by 5.1" "receiver",
I'd rather not take up that much real estate.

Being only 4" deep is nice.  Being 1" by 4" would be better.

I'd also like it to work with an iPhone.  I drove from Houston to Miami
with my phone in the charger, tunes playing, and headphones on.  I had the
map application running, so it would dim music, give directions when
appropriate, and bring the volume back to normal.  Why can't I do that
over the speakers?

BTW, I'm talking about not just a Pantera stereo (where I prefer engine
noise).  I'm talking about the other cars.
