[DeTomaso] Fair price for used BendPac 4 post lift?

A local muffler shop is closing and selling a couple used BendPac HD 9ST lifts.  This is a narrow (100 inches overall) lift and leaves room for a car beside it, so it is perfect for me.  I can buy a new one for $2,825.  The seller is asking $2K and will deliver it to me.  The photos look OK, but I think I have seen similar lifts sell for $1,500 used.  Of the seller delivers and helps set it up, that is worth something, maybe $200 to $300?
