[DeTomaso] NPC Sports car reaches 270 miles per // Hennessey Venom GT

Not sure if a Viper V-10 will fit but if you're up for some (OK, a LOT of) shop adverentures, a Ford Modular SOHC V-10 from a big Triton truck will fit (barely) and uses a Pantera bellhousing bolt pattern. Then all(?) you'd have to do is get someone to make speed equipment to fit it... . 

FWIW, That's an improvement fot Hennessey since the Silver State race a few years ago when Larry Stock tucked in on the bumper and drafted Hennessey driving one of his go-fa$ter$. The big bad Viper couldn't pull away from Larry's street Pantera with an unblown 351-C. At 187 indicated, Larry backed off just before the next radar checkpoint, where Hennessey was disqualified for exceeding his Tech speed. Larry finished and drove home. Hennessey trailered the Viper.

2v per cylinder iron block, aluminum heads... sounds very familiar.

So when can I get this motor for my Pantera?
