To bring a light into the dark, Simon got these parts from me. Those
where part of the leftovers of 50 planed SI's, witch i bought after the
close down of the factory in 2003.
I did a long research for using those on my car. The SI steering rack
had longer steering arms. The rack itself, had the same dimensions.
The front spindles are the same as on earlier Panteras. The steering
arms are different. The front a-arms can be used plug and play in an
earlier car. The rears not. The mounting points on the rears are wider
than on the old cars. The a-arms look longer, but with the construction
and mounting points on the carrier, the whole setup is a bit shorter.
The mounting points on the SI where more wide out on the back as on the
earlier cars. So the offset of the rims front and back is way less.

   Mike,

Could you ask Simon if the Si's front spindles and steering arms are
the same as on earlier Panteras. In the photo of the Si's rear upright,
you can see about two thirds of the front spindle and steering arm. It
   sure looks familiar to me!

   Thanks!

   David
