After having my GT5 for about a year, I was caught in a big city traffic
congestion for over two hours in Tulsa. I only took about 5 minutes for
me to overheat and make my way to the shoulder. After getting home I
checked the fans and found that they were wired to suck but mounted in
front of the radiator. Thus they were blowing air out the front of the
car. Working hard to keep air out of the radiator shroud. Have
corrected them but not tested them in heat with lowered air flow.

This tells me the fan blades are expected to
perform whether rotating CW or CCW. But I've always heard blades are
optimal for one direction only, and show reduced efficiency when
rotating opposite to the intended function.
That is true, when a fan blade is designed to be used in opposite
directions its efficiency is lower and most of the time noisier. The
convenience of a dual flow fans overwhelms its efficiency. Of course
the s shaped blades are quieter.
