[DeTomaso] Shrinking Pantera ?

Unfortunately, I feel this false sense of invincibility is what causes many
of these kids in cars and especially ricers to drive like maniacs.
They have not seen the physical damage caused by a crash or lost any
friends while growing up, while I was growing up, teenagers getting killed
wasn't super uncommon, seeing the remains of the cars of others who had
crashed and lived usually made an impression, Watch these kids now on
youtube, they crash on purpose and invite dangers that would have been
certain death in a 50/60/70 vintage car.

Not that I'm advocating more dead kids, perhaps just a more rigorous
licensing process.  Plus we should work towards making sure that places to
play remain open, a drag strip should be available to them to keep it off
the road, cause you know it's going to happen.
