Jack ­ you do a great job researching and writing up your articles.  I will
look forward to it.

I didn't remove the trim at first.  I was afraid I would damage it, so I had
it done by a shop.  But they only did one section or one door.  I don't
recall.  Once I saw how they did it, I removed the rest, plus I reinstalled
it after painting.  Sorry, but I didn't take any pics.

Will, I must confess- that's one of a very few pieces of a Pantera I've
never taken off. When I painted our car 20 years ago, I did what most
amateurs do- I masked that trim. I'll look into an illustrated article on
removing window trim from a '72-1/2 L model (or if you took photos when you

I think this needs an article in the POCA magazine with pics.

Mine came off easily without sliding - just minor prying using very small
screw drivers.

The glass and whiskers were already out.  I don't remember where the
screws were, but I removed those first.

They went back on without any drama.
