Rick Moseley bought a four-post lift years ago, which came with a pair of
heavy steel ramps. He got tired of schlepping them around, and bought some
lighter aluminum versions. He gave me the steel ones, which I in turn
donated to the Firestone shop. They place their alignment rack ramps atop
these ramps to make the approach angle more gradual.

This also requires blocks of wood to be placed under the alignment rack
ramps; I normally bring some with me, as when I leave wood there, it
disappears.

In your case, bringing several lengths of 2x12 that you can stack up
underneath the alignment rack ramps would be a great solution.
