[DeTomaso] Brake Booster and Master Install

I replaced the master cylinder, but that had been done before, so replaced
with the same. Was allegedly an early '80's GM, Cadillac I think. I redid
the front rotors, and the rear brake lines, but not the booster or lines up
front.

Hi Mike,
I always check there first :) There is some brake related stuff but not
exactly what I'm looking for.
It looks simple but I know there is potential to screw it up.
Didn't you redo all your brake lines and other brake stuff a few years ago?

Do you have an aftermarket master cylinder or stock?
I can't figure out what flare type I need. Maybe 2 diff types.
Looking like I have to cut and bend some tubes from the master down to the
splitter block.
There are only 3 bolts and a clip on the pedal assembly to get the thing out
of the car.
I thought I remember reading about the plunger in the master has to be set a

certain position or the brakes don't work. Since my Hall unit
booster/master is all in one I don't think
I have to worry about that part. Bench bleed it then just bolt it in and
hook up pedal and newly bent and flared tubes.
Of course I'm really just guessing as I know just enough to be dangerous.

Have you checked Mike Daley's website PanteraPlace.com. Mike has a great
library of technical articles.

I have a brake booster/master combo that has been sitting in the box for a
long time.
Since my brakes are crap I've decided to make this my winter project.
Pretty sure I got this combo from Hall. I know there is a lot of discussion
and writeups on
installing boosters out there but I haven't found a good one.
Anyone have a link handy that may help ? Thanks, Sean
