Dear Ken,
FWIW, the last two engines -heads that I painted were
done with POR-15's Engine enamel. Both engines cooked the enamel and
POR-15 off of the exhaust ports. It is good stuff, but it isn't good
enough for the exhaust ports.
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Peter,
Have you checked into the POR line? http://www.por15.com/
They have engine enamels and high temp paints too.

Somebody posted a while ago about a really good high temp paint for cylinder
heads.
I looked in the archives but can not find the post. Does anybody remember
the name of that product?
Thanks
Peter

What is the best way to refurbish an aluminium air intake manifold?
It has some dark stains due to age and yellowing because of previous fuel
leaks.
Is media blasting a good solution?
What type of media?
Should it be clear coated or treated in any way afterwards to make the fresh
appearance last longer? Than
