[DeTomaso] Hot Start Issue

After I got my car back on the road in August, it's begun to have a bit of a
hot start issue.  It cranks just fine when it's cold, but when I get home, I
usually back into the driveway, stop the car and shut it off to open the
garage and get things out of the right side.  About 2 out of three times,
when I go to start the car again to back it in to the garage, usually after
less than five minutes after I shut it down, it barely wants to turn over,
and starts with difficulty.  Am I getting some vapor lock?

Ideas please.

Thanks

Mike,Many years ago my car experienced similar symptoms. Battery was strong. Correct timing. All cables were good. I even added another ground to the engine block. I was told by a couple of knowledgeable Pantera gurus that my car had a not uncommon issue of "heat soak". Where the car cranks and starts fine 95% of the time , but slow to crank in very hot summer conditions. Nothing worked until I switched out the starter for a high quality Power Master unit.
