[DeTomaso] Aluminium front hood and rear decklid

Isn't that literally what Porsche did when Detomaso (Ferrari's Modena rival) started winning FIA GT back in the day?

We had the factory Ferrari F1 drivers in a capable Italian package and P was scared big-time for Le Mans.
