It is 416, 4.125 bore, 3.9 stroke.

Hey,i do not think they were ugly ,(attached a pic if it goes thru),but yes
they were LOUD  : )

The Ansa mufflers and tips are by far the best looking muffler,but have
horrible flow.

I had Cherry Bomb Extreme mufflers with non baffled tips.Essentially the are
a hollow can with one angled metal plate .They flowed well,and had a deep
exhaust note.Less drone at low rpm than the stock Ansa's as well.The problem
with the stock Pantera muffler location is you have to use a short length
muffler,which makes it difficult to have decent exhaust flow and sound
canceling ability.Also a more powerful engine will be louder than a stock
engine with the same mufflers.

On my car, i just installed 180's with 4 inch Magnaflow mufflers,and it made
a significant increase in power over my already decent flowing loud
exhaust.In fact the car revs so quick i am seriously thinking of changing my
final drive gear ratio to 3.73, when i change the 5th gear in the ZF.

With the 180 exhaust you have a lot more options on mufflers that can reduce
noise but still have good flow,because you are no longer as limited by
muffler body length.You lose your trunk storage,but is it something you
really need?If you drop the battery in the front you can gain some more
storage up front.I started to convert a trunk that was in really bad shape
to go around my 180's,but it has been on the back burner since i have been
able to get by without it so far.

By the way,the 180's sound GLORIOUS!
