What is the chrome lever below the A/C vents?

Also, it that all the further that the windows go down? That would be a deal killer for me because I like to hang my arm out the window when I'm cruising around (at least that's my story why I won't buy it).

Looks very nice.

   Hi guys,
The ex-Larry Stock/Jim Kuehne/several other guys Mangusta 8MA508 is up
   for grabs:
   http://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/de-tomaso/mangusta/1967/250081
Asking price is an eye-watering $349K! Maybe it could fetch that in
Europe, but I doubt we'll see that here anytime soon.
This is actually a spectacular car; I got to drive it a couple of times
(when it had NO brakes, a detail Larry forgot to share with me before I
agreed to ferry it to the Reno Fun Rally car show for him!) It took
some doing but eventually he tracked the problem down to a worn-out
master cylinder and the brakes were fixed.
8MA508 is the fourth Mangusta built and has a number of unique
features, including an original Shelby-spec solid-lifter 289 engine,
steel instead of aluminum engine hatches, and different front turn
   signals.
It was restored by Wilkinson before originality was coveted in
Mangustas and unfortunately the then-owner took some liberties there.
The chrome trim was blacked out, and the interior was re-done in a
   non-original color, including the steering wheel. It's a rock-solid,
rust-free, turn-key car that's ready to go. It is incredibly
well-done, so if you can get past those deviations from originality,
this would be a prime example to park next to your Pantera.
Unfortunately you might have to park them both in the street because
you would have to sell your house to buy it!
   Mike
