Not as long as you remember your lighter-loaded front tires can withstand a higher continuous speed than the rears. An occasional seconds-long excursion to 140 or so will not instantly blow out your BFGs which are rated for a lower speed. Disasters following the use of 'mismatched' tires are mostly a myth, as is matching tread patterns. It's the actual rubber that mattters. Different brands of tires usually have different coefficients of friction and produce different slip-angles when cornering so handling changes, but that's about it. I've driven hundreds of highway miles and competed on-track with our Pantera running Yokohama radial front tires and Hoosier belted-bias rears without being killed. Just be aware of the character of both ends of your car with your chosen tires.
I don't know if the actual construction of Z, W or V-rated tires are different, or if they're just inspected to a higher degree (x-ray?) and then sent to the US.DOT for speed testing so they get an Official high speed rating. In any case, the rating sort-of guarantees they won't blow out after 30 full minutes at their rated speed, assuming they are perfect, are properly mounted and inflated to their proper pressures. Note- none of this applies to old, hard, cracked tires! Running those WILL kill you!

Old news perhaps but....
[1]http://www.tirerack.com/tires/TireSearchResults.jsp?width=225%2F&rat
io=45&diameter=15&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemar
k=1&RunFlat=All
Wish they had something for my 10's.....argh.
What if I put ZR tires on the front and ran BFG TA's on the rear? Is
this asking for trouble?
