Thanks Dave, may do that anyway, but it also sounds like something that
wouldn't come back for a few weeks.  I'm about to lose another summer all

Hey Mike,

If you can't find a new gauge, an interesting alternative would be to send
it to North Hollywood Speedo & Clock and have them put VDO workings in it.
With the matching VDO temp sending unit, you'd have a very accurate temp
gauge and it would look 100% OEM. Wouldn't cost much more than a new Veglia
gauge either.
