Hi all,
My soon-to-be Pantera owner friend has found a car in Longmont CO (see description below).
Does anyone know this car or is close enough by Longmont to take a quick look? Also, comments on the popping whining noises would be appreciated.
Please reply to fusion security at msn.com so Steve will see the reply, thanks.
Sincerely,
Chris

Hi Chris,Longmont , Colorado. What did you think of the engine sounds? The weird whiney noise has me concerned as does the popping when he guns it. Any ideas? That would be great if an expert would take a look at it prior to me. But if the engine noises are an indicator of potential problems it would be a waste of time.By the way the Vin number is THPNLS01810.Did I mention the engine and zf are original?

Have a nice day,SteveFusion Security

Do you want me to ask if there is someone in the area that can take a look for you before you travel there? By the way, where is it located?
Chris

Thanks Chris,
You are a big help.
I will be joining the pantera club very soon.
I had the owner send me some video with audio of the engine, you have to cock your head though..
Is it normal to pop or whine? He says the whine is from a hi-volume fuel pump.
I do plan on going to see it, but I don't want to waste my time either.
