Will,
Thanks for the feedback. I have used Columbia River bends. I buy from their B list and save quite a bit. All the bends have been perfect.
I was hoping to avoid the fabricating. Might just bite the bullet.

Mark,
The easiest way to get the headers-to-mufflers pipe is to make them out of
mandrel bends. You might find a vendor with the pipes, but since they
didn¹t provide everything, they wouldn¹t know what fits. I would be
surprised if someone has the pipes, and especially without mufflers.
I used Columbia River mandrel bending for my 180¹s.
http://www.mandrel-bends.com/catalog/ Their pipes were the cheapest I
could find - almost half of everything else I found.
If you do not have access to a welder and something to cut straight, you
could buy the bends and take it to a muffler shop.
Prior to the 180¹s, I had headers, pipes, and mufflers made by Fred Terry,
I believe. I bought them from someone on the list. They were very nicely
made. They had 3² pipes between the headers and mufflers, with Borla XR-1
oval mufflers that fit just right. They looked good too. The 2 1/2²
XR-1s are identical, except for the inlet/outlet diameters.
You can fit 3² pipes through the suspension, so 2 1/2² should be a piece
of cake.
I used Magnaflow tips for the 180s. They are dual wall, which makes them
about 1/2² larger diameter, but the dual wall gives it a nice smooth
finish. I have also seen nice tips that were not dual wall.
Hope this helps.
Will.
