[DeTomaso] L front bumperettes

For anybody that has never seen how some of the Euro spec 'L' cars were
finished with bumperettes I thought it would be a perfect chance to try
posting photos to the forum.

My car is a 72 with all of the typical Euro touches except it has English
gauges. The holes for the U.S. spec front bumper where there but they had
black plates that simply bolted in place. Not very finished looking but if a
guy was hell bent on an authentic restoration that appears to be how it
should look, for this car. I have since had the car painted and the holes
filled in.

If anyone is looking for bumperettes I just received a set of front and back
from the Harrington Group. (seen at this Ebay link)

I am converting the back to bumperettes and the used ones I briefly had,.
disappeared at the body shop so I gave these guys a shot for a replacement.
The bumpers are polished stainless steel and I give them high marks for
quality. The fronts look like a perfect copy of my originals and maybe even
a little nicer. Note; the mounting holes to not match the front or back so I
will have to fit the bumperttes to the car.
