That Alfa clutch master's bolt pattern is a little too wide to safely use long term, but will work in a pinch. The problem is the bolt holes for mounting are threaded and need to be drilled out and the Pantera's bolt pattern was a little closer together so when you elongated the holes to fit, it was really close to the bore for the piston.I was worried that the lack of material after the elongating of the holes would cause it to eventually break the housing.

A buddy of mine who imports parts for his Opel restoration business found a master from a Ferrari(not positive of the model, but might be a Mondial?)that had the correct mounting spacing.Still need to drill out the threads. It is also carried by Centric, made by LPR part # is 136.44897.This has the square reservoir.

The round reservoir like the originals was made by ATE,also re-boxed by Centric, part # is 136.44356.It is discontinued, but i called pretty much every warehouse i could to find and modify for the Pantera.

Both of these are/were made in Italy.

I have one ATE,round reservoir master left.I am out of the LPR square reservoir masters.

I have talked with Centric and they have ordered more masters ,but they could not give me a date as to when they will be available.

The CNC master can be modified to fit.The CNC master has a wider mounting so you have to elongate the mounting holes. The clevis will have to be shortened as well. The outlet is at the front of the master and is 1/8 pipe thread so you will need to get a 90 degree fitting for that and you will need to cut and flare your copper clutch line to match.

Wilwood also makes a clutch master that will fit with some modification, but is better as it has a longer stroke. You will have to do the same modification to the mounting holes and clevis as the CNC,as well as the opening for the master needs to be enlarged,or do none of the modifications and get the adapter from Gary at Rc-tech?(the guy on this board with the awesome brown"Trans Am"Pantera, that he is making himself).I know Sacc Restorations has a Wilwood master kit,but i do not know if it has the adapter like Gary makes.

Hugh,i will email you to see if you want the round master i still have.

Richard
