[DeTomaso] ZF gear oil--another question

I think it depends on how you use the car and where you live

I live in S California in a warm, dry area and think every 5 years is fine with synthetic oil since the car isn't driven very often. (But when it is it is driven until fully warmed up.)

I do brake fluid every year and coolant every 2 but the transaxle oil can go longer where I live.

But 25K miles would be time to change for sure.
