All is OK in Gibsonville now! The #6-32 speed nuts from McMaster-Car fit the #6 (20 thread per inch) sheet metal studs in the Gibson guitar amp just fine. Since the nuts are springy, they accomodate the drastic thread difference just fine. Doug Braun blue 73 #5505
