[DeTomaso] NPC: speed (Pal) nuts

Thanks Julian,

I'll order McMaster's 90533A111 but it still suprises me that there's no
listinig for a #6 AB thread (20 TPI) sheet metal version.
The 6-32 may work fine and if it does I'll be set but it still begs these 2
questions:

What really is a "Pal" nut? vs a hex head speed nut?
and
Why don't I see any hex-washer type speed nuts for sheet metal screws listed
anywhere?

Doug

  I find McMaster the best go to for small fittings and hardware;

Anyone run across a supplier for this type of speed nut (see attached pic).I
need it to fit a #6 sheet metal screw with the most common type
"AB"thread/point which I believe is 20 threads per inch. I've also seen
these called "Pal" nuts but the Pal type may only apply to amachine thread
which in this case would be 6-32. Which brings up another question - anyone
seen a size chart for sheet metalscrew thread pitches? BTW: I need this to
restore a vintage Gibson guitar amp for my son Steve. Doug Braunblue 73L
