[DeTomaso] List up again

I just want to thank all that worked so hard
to get the List up and active again.. I have 
been missing my daily fix of Detomaso info
Just received over 400 entries yesterday
and I am all caught up now.

A few comments:
Motors that are run hard and often 7000 rpm-(mine)
need to have the springs replaced often as even
if everything else is all forged etc they tend to weaken
The rev limiter will not help 

Tommy Hodges just finished doing a little insurance
work for My Pantera (don't ask).. he has done several
in the club and all have been good responses back..
he did say my insurance adjuster was the best to date
to work with-Farmers

Taller fifth gear is a no brainer if you have the thing
apart and funds to get it done..Byers did mine many
years back and I can tell you I have never been in
5th gear on any track that I have run... Texas boys
or others may get there but 155 max is the best I have
done on a track- 4th gear... Silver State I did use it.
I did it to help with gas mileage but with my car
that is not a good thing unless I dial the jets way
back... I still want to drive it to San Diego next year
down the Highway 1 coast... not sure I can make it
on gas to the next stop:)
