[DeTomaso] Really bad day

All good advice from Bill, we produced at least 6 TLTV episodes on traffic
accidents and covered those points.

Plus, even if you feel bad and it was your fault, NEVER apologize, you can
ask if they are OK, help them if they are hurt, bleeding, etc.
but never apologize, never get disruptive and never argue with the cop. If
the other party starts doing any of that, video them with your phone if you
can, take lots of photos,
and if the cop thinks you need an ambulance, do not turn it down, that can
help ruin a claim.

If you think the other party is uninsured ( in Georgia 1 out of 4 they say
), make sure you get all of their personal info, where the live, work, etc.
although it is not uncommon
for an illegal to simply head for the hills if they get into trouble.

I know the year models and models within years varied a little bit, but
perhaps those with a 73L could start to measure their cars in various
places to give you some idea of how far it was
pushed in, I have know idea if there is a max amount that designates a
total ( Bill Gaino should know ) loss since there is no frame to damage and
the cars weren't really designed with crush zones per say
, I'm sure that Goran has all of the measurements for the suspension
locations, whomever gets your car may want all of this info to help make
the repairs.

I little medical issue can go a long way to clearing up a property damage
dispute if you know what I mean.

Hope that you aren't too sore today and if you are or are not, don't say
anything here.
