Boyd. thanks for the reply :)
previous owner said that it should be a 408 with much head work,
(but In fact, it's probably little of what he has said that is something to be sure on)
it is also efi. Dyno results show 360 rear wheel horses. which I am reasonably happy with. but I think that the torque should be higher? but this is something I have little knowledge about :)

According to the published specs a 1974 Pantera L should have 314 ft lbs of torque at 3600 rpm.
I don't think that torque and HP numbers were usually quoted at the rear wheel but at the fly wheel. The #s at the flywheel are higher then at the rear wheels , so 350 ft / lbs at the rear wheels is higher then stock for a 1974. Due to emissions and EPA rules the manufacturer of the engine ( ford ) lowered the compression ratio every year so a 1974 would be the lowest. Based on your dyno results it would appear that your engine is not stock. What was the horse power reading?

    Hey all.
Anyone know how much torque in a 74mod 351 cleveland original would be?? my
dyno test shows 350ftlb on the rear wheels. is this something that can be
    described as good?

    Thanks
