Bob, as your photo shows, its a fresh air exhaust, not an intake. It works
when the car's in motion by sucking air out of the cabin thru grilles in the
rear edge of the doors. Hall's been selling that system for years and it
apparently does work. Not too hard to install, either compared to installing
one that works with ram-air at the cowl. As to how effective it is, I've not
driven a Pantera with it on.

I added two home-built cowl intakes to our '72 and they work pretty good
for being only 1-3/8" OD. But one really should pull the dash to install a
system like mine, or like the stock '74 system which is even more
complicated/expensive. Cheers- Jderyke

All of our modern cars have "fresh air" but it goes thru a cabin filter
first. Having some experience in nationally marketing products for indoor
air quality ( which is generally more toxic than outdoor air ) I wouldn't
want highway air containing smog, exhaust, dirt, diesel particulate,
industrial soot, etc. Being piped in the car unfiltered. Not having a
traffic problems like "the 405" here, the thought of such traffic jams and
deliberately sucking that into the cabin...not for me.
Just my humble opinion.

Have any of you driven any of these?

Hey Bob,

I'm interested in the vent for my doors too... and I looked on the Hall
Pantera site.... but there wasn't a picture available.

Do you have a picture you can post ?

Thanks,

Hi guys,

Here's a super-early car, #1055, for sale in Italy:

http://www.autoscout24.eu/Details.aspx?id=235594808&cd=635096736190000000&
asrc=st

Apparently, this is a what-you-see-is-what-you-get deal, i.e. the missing
doors (!), interior bits, radiator, wheels/tires etc. don't come with it?
Lost somewhere perhaps?

I'm trying to find out more....

Seems like a pretty optimistic asking price, regardless of what we think
they sell for these days!
