I agree with Mike, maybe all 3 Mikes - 
if a superb example of an original car should be $60 - to $75,000 and 4,500 were made - then
a fine GT5-S, that Kirk did - only 28 of them, I think, should bring $100K+
there will always be a few low sales, and some big time sales at some fancy auction, look at
the 190SL's there are going nuts at the auctions. So, who knows, what a GT5-S would bring at
Barrett-Jackson, seems like super rare cars are getting big money today.  
In a way we, the owners can influence the marketplace.
The black one here in DC is very nice, mostly original car, owner is Paul Crist 301-529-1519
