>>>No, YOU are trying to pretend the exceptions don't exist. This all
started from your assertions that an excellent GT5-S was overpriced, and when
somebody else explained that they typically sell for about double the cost of
a comparable early car, that "Panteras don't sell for $70K".

SOME do. Quite a few, in fact. as I and several others have demonstrated.
I clearly stated that my own car, which is very nice, and has $75K or
more invested in it, is perhaps only a $50K car today. If it was bone stock
and in perfect shape it would be $65-70K, all day long. That's not an
anomalous price. That's the standard, going price for bone stock cars in
excellent condition these days. (I just remembered that a very nice but not
outstanding Pre-L that was repainted but incompletely (they forgot to paint the
satin black trim) just sold near me for $66K).

And a bone stock, basically perfect GT5-S is absolutely a six-figure car
today. Maybe not $135K as he is asking, but he's not outrageously far from a
reasonable price.

If you don't believe that, try to buy another one elsewhere in comparable
condition for less, and see how well that works out for you? :>)
