[DeTomaso] Fw: stock shock absorber bushes

Ariston, Telecar and early Konis all used the same rubber/steel shock 
bushings. Try your local Koni dealer. Generally, top bushings suffer less than 
lower ones due to the lowers carrying far more weight and getting more 
road-trash on them. As a temporary measure, I've pressed out top bushings for use 
in more wear-prone lower shock mounts. 

But if all goes wrong, polyurethane bushings add handling precision and do 
NOT cause ride harshness or noise. And they're cheaper & install easier. Get 
black ones and no one will ever notice. Good luck- J Deryke
