I am not sure it has as much to do with logic as it does with pure statistics. Problem is, with a rare car statistics are easy to skew one way or anther. If 3 of the 10 Cobra's with V6's in them have accidents which total the car, suddenly V6 insurance will be 10x that of Big Block Cobra insurance; for no other reason then statistics.
