I second that.
Check out Heacock-- I just increased my coverages and they only went up proportionally to the coverage change.

I don't recall Heacock asking about stock vs modified-- you send them photos and tell them how much you want to cover it for and that's that.

Hagerty hates modified cars. When I was shopping they told me my rate would be triple their normal rate just because I had a fire system and aftermarket seat belts--both things that would potentially reduce their exposure!


Shop around. I am with heacock and my rates are very reasonable. I just raised my coverage and costs increase was minimal.
