You are doing vintage events that are sprint races?
Usually there is a time, lap or mileage limit, what is yours?

Any idea of your mpg?

Full blown NASCAR engine at 875+ hp gets about 5 mpg.

23 laps at a 2.5 mile road course = 57.5 miles IF you had 875 hp, 12 gal
would be almost perfect.

Pace laps and caution laps at 2x mpg .

How many gallons do you need?

I just found an old references to Greg Esakoff's front mount cell being a
12 gallon Fuelsafe unit.

tanks like original GR4's used?

>>>Gr4 cars didn't have dual tanks--instead, they had a large tank on the
right side, initially filled from the side, but then later filled through
the roof using a dry-break system.
