[DeTomaso] water pump recommendations

I'm sure you'll get differing opinions, but personally I don't see whay anyone would switch from a stock style bypass waterpump?
 
Furthermore, if it ain't broke don't fix it!

Noting Jack's article on thermostats and water pumps in the latest newsletter, what are people recommending for water pumps?


 


Mine is a basically stock car except for a larger radiator.  


 


So get a water pump which blocks off the "recirculation" area or one which allows this function?


 


I have never had a problem with overheating since I installed the Meriah fans 20 years ago and fast warmup is probably more important to me, if that helps you.


 


Any specific brands recommended?
