A boxer engine has opposing pairs of cylinders, and each pair is on a pair
of crank pins (big-ends) that are 180° out of phase, so that the two
pistons of the pair reach Top Dead Center (TDC) simultaneously.

A 180 degree V engine has one crank pin per pair of cylinders (like all V
engines), so the two pistons will reach TDC 180° apart.
