I knew many VF-126 (Bandits) and another Guido but DiMatteo does not ring a bell.
As him if he knew any Baraneks...my Brother Dave "Bio" was a fixture in fighters/Top Gun both West Coast and East Coast (Commanded VF-211) and I Tom "Biff" or "Shark" (from my earliest days) instructed at Pensacola after my Miramar tour.
Ps-I did go through Army Airborne before I decided flying (and they took away my jump orders).
