[DeTomaso] Ring Bros - better detail photos

It is a show car, so it doesn't have to be reasonable. So, things that
wouldn't work don't bother me like plastic parts, no headroom, etc.
The yellow/flat black colors go well together.
The wheels look good too.
I didn't see the decklid in the previous pics. Outlook keeps correcting
decklid to deckled. What is a deckled?
The roof treatment with the deck lid is too much. It is cleaner without
that stuff.
I prefer the original front-end, no ground effects, and rear end, but the
show car would be easier to meet bumper rules, and it looks okay too. I
don't think it destroys Tom's design.
The door handles are too much like C5 Vettes. It needs to look more exotic,
like a push button or a 308.
It would be interesting to do 2 or 3 show cars like this, take the best from
all of them, and build a modern Pantera, kinda like Ford did with the Ford
GT.
BTW, I hate to say it, but an LS engine makes more sense than a Ford. It is
the closest modern engine to a 351C.

While there are elements of the design that I like and some that I don't, I
am delighted they built the car. The exercise will bring attention to the
marque at SEMA. IMHO, it is great publicity for Panteras. A little
controversy is good!
