Guys,
I have another potential buyer for my Pantera, this time in the UK. The
sticking point right now is that the car currently has no A/C installed and
he would like to have it. So, I am trying to get him an estimate on parts
cost and have come across the issue of front or rear mount systems.
Essentially, my car is stripped of any A/C parts. All I have is the rear fan
and shroud and the stock evaporator installed under the dash. So, my
question is; if you were to install a system in your Pantera, which way
would you go, front or rear mount?
It would seem to me that a front mount system would be much cleaner looking,
especially since my engine bay is highly detailed, but I don't know if there
is a bunch of cutting and hacking or any modifications that need to be done
to install it.
I do have a Fluidyne radiator with dual Spall sucker fans installed in the
laid forward position.
Any opinions would help.
Thanks,
Ian
