[DeTomaso] Engine stall under hard braking

Came to think about the fact that many factory equipped holleys had
dashpots that delay the throttle closing. Maybe keeping the butterflys
open for little longer would help to keep mixture leaner, not by
preventing the accidental fuel entering, but letting more air in when
you step off throttle and on the brake. Then found this from Jegs site.
Seems there might be something to it...

Holley 11-4 - Holley Throttle Solenoid, Dashpot & Brackets Details

*Dashpot*

Designed to be used on manual transmission equipped vehicles, dashpots
are used to prevent engine stalling on sudden deceleration. This dashpot
can be used with Holley brackets 510-20-72
