I found the post on the PI forum.  You need to be logged in to see the pics.  

Basically, you disassemble the valve and thread the packing end of the valve body with a 3/8"-24 die.  Purchase 
a 3/16" (NOT 1/8" as stated in the PI forum post) compression fitting and some teflon valve packing material at 
your favorite DIY store.  You will only need the nut from the compression fitting.  Assemble the valve stem, 
compression nut and packing, and reassemble the valve.
