If you look at the application chart, the SFD0001/3205 is for automatic 
transmissions.   The SFD0001/3223 is the one appropriate for a Pantera.

Note that it is the bellhousing/flywheel, not the engine, that dictates 
which starter is used.   So regardless of the engine type 
(Cleveland/Windsor/4.6/460 big block), the same 163 tooth flywheel and starter must be used.
