FWIW, around 12 yrs ago, Larry Stock of PPC-Carson City NV started offering 
the big rear window in lightweight polycarbonate, and Ron Wade sells a 
double-pane assembly, vacuum-filled, for a couple of dB sound reduction. 
Polycarbonate is harder to work with than plain-vanilla Lexan, but much stronger 
and tougher, and can be had with abrasion-resistent coatings. Cheers- J Deryke
