Certain Euro markets demanded clear front turn signal covers, and amber
bulbs, while the rest of the world just had amber front turn signal covers.

Side markers are always amber in front and red in the rear, at least. But
certain Euro countries didn't require rear markers. Early Euro Panteras
used a round amber light in the front and nothing in the rear, then starting
in late '72 or so, a thin cigarette-shaped amber front marker, and painted
sheetmetal in the rear opening, while the post-Ford Panteras usually had just
an amber light in front, same as the early cars. Then, when one of those
cars came to the USA, it had to have generic amber/red lights grafted onto
the outside.

I've never seen clear side markers on any car, De Tomaso or otherwise?

Mike
