This is what I use.  They are generally very good.  on some of the smaller 1/4" sockets (craftsman) i have, the post on the tray is larger than the hole in the socket, so they don't fit.  not a huge issue, however...

Subject: [DeTomaso] Socket Organizer Recommendations

I've been looking around for a better solution to organize my sockets too (and make it easier to find the right sizes. These middle-aged eyes can barely see the faint micro size-stamp on my Craftsman sockets - I love the new large size markings, but won't be replacing my old sockets (perfect condition) with new ones just to make it easier to read the sizes.

Anyway, I've been thinking of ordering some Hansen's socket trays.

Not quite as portable as some of the other suggestions, but could easily be lifted out of the toolbox and taken across the garage to whatever you're working on.

Cheers!
Garth
