[DeTomaso] Seat railing(s)

Mike
Maybe I am hitting the panic button. I have never played with railings (tracks) before. I can see at one time a previous owner, or someone other than I, beat the ends pretty good to where there is a crack into one of the bolt holes. They are very difficult to slide - after lots of different lubes. I figured they were bent, so I tapped on an end to slide it off so I could file the edges, etc. to make a better sliding movement. That's when I wondered where these black hard rubber wheels came from that were rolling around the garage floor. Dah. So yes, I have a railing off, and the wheels also. I didn't know there were "wheels" in there. But I see the "tabs" in the bottom railing where the wheels were supposed to roll. What I did, I think, is bend the tabs enough to allow it to slide off and freed up the wheels. I did this with a rubber hammer, unlike whoever did it before. The front tab is OK, but thee rear three are bent down. After looking at them, I wondered, "how would one pull down the tabs to drop off the lower railing from inside?". I can see that in putting them together, you would slide in the wheels, then tap the tabs to define the limits of the wheel movement, but how do you remove the lower railings? I'll measure them tomorrow. Thanks!
Jack
