[DeTomaso] A/C condensor fan test results

The original controller is nothing but a thermostatic on-off switch.
There is also no other way to run the compressor than on/off. As long as
the system has over-cooling capacity the switch will turn on and off but
when it's not enough to keep the temp down it never stops. The solution
to de-icing the evaporator is as simple as turning the AC off and
keeping the heater fan running.

treat it like an on/off switch, but it is a rheostat, and you can select
an 
intermediate setting which might enable it to run continuously?
