excess until it finds its happy spot, but then might chuck out a bit more on an
especially hot day, which can be embarrassing. The conventional wisdom
seems to be to run it at 50% or thereabouts.
The stock setup routed the overflow hose to the ground right in front of
the rear tire, which has resulted in at least a few wrecked Panteras, as the
antifreeze mix is as slippery as oil. Make sure you create a longer hose
and route it to the rear of the car, so you cause some OTHER poor slob to
wreck instead of you! :>)
