[DeTomaso] Oil Pressure Senders?

My caution came as a result of yet another owner via the Web having 
unexplained HIGH oil pressure problems. After a series of back-and-forths since no 
one asked the right question, he mentioned that his sender was mounted on 
the block near the fuel pump. His engine @3000 rpms put out 110 psi at the 
front via a mechanical gauge and 70 psi at the back- also via a mechanical 
gauge. Note- this was a 351-C with unknown mods; a 351-W or the OP's engine- a 
modular motor, may (probably will) be different. So as was said, do your 
testing.
