Sold for $36.5k?

With stock Pre Ls going for over $60k now, this is really something.

Paul Rimov's recent post about values is correct...the ebay GTS  is already at $28k in what appears to be project condition.

This car would've been $10k just a few years ago.

>>>Looks like a pretty nice car.   And   when one is doing the math about a
GT5 or GT5-S conversion, this drives home the reality that spending money
on a Pantera doesn't automatically increase its value.   In this particular
case, this car would probably have sold for the same amount, or maybe even
more, if it was in a stock narrow-body configuration.

The lesson learned here is that the only reason you should choose to make
this conversion yourself, is if you really, really want it, and plan to keep
it forever, and are not concerned about money spent vs. resale value.

If you are shopping for a Pantera and want a widebody car, you're much
better off buying one that has already been done, like this car--at least from a
financial perspective....
