Not DeTomaos boats, but Pantera boats - nothing to do with DeTomaso, other than I believe the name was inspired by the performance of our beloved sports cars.

De Tomaso owned motorcycle company Moto Guzzi from 1973 to 1993, but I suspect the ignorant author is referring to the Ventana bicycle company that produced the Pantera mountain bike, which also has nothing to do with DeTomaso.
